Akhil Agarwal stormed into his company with a visibly angry expression, striking fear into anyone who crossed his path. His reputation for danger when enraged was well-known among his colleagues.
As he approached the closing lift doors, they abruptly halted, and the newcomer, with a shocked expression, turned out to be none other than Vihaan Singh, his best friend.
Vihaan: "Bro! What's that mark on your cheek? Who dared to harm you?" he demanded angrily.
Akhil sighed in frustration, struggling to contain his anger towards his best friend.
Vihaan: "Were you attacked?"
Akhil: "No."
Vihaan: "Then who did this?"
Before Akhil could respond, the lift doors opened, and he left Vihaan and his inquiries behind, heading straight to his father's office, ignoring Vihaan's worried calls.
Inside his father's office, Akhil sat down opposite him, inquiring about the urgent summons.
Akhil: "Why the urgent call, Dad? Is something wrong?"
Karan: "Well, my child, it's time for you to take over the company. I'm getting old. What do you think?"
Akhil: "I'm ready anytime, Dad. Just give me the date, and I'll be prepared."
Karan smiled proudly at his mature son.
Karan: "But for that, you'll need to get married."
Akhil sighed in frustration.
Akhil: "Not again, Dad. We've discussed this. I'm not interested in love. I don't have time for these trivial matters."
Karan: "Watch your language, Akhil. And I'm not asking you to marry tomorrow or anyone in particular. Just find a suitable girl, young man. But you only have one month. If not, forget about the CEO position."
His father's tone was stern.
Karan: "Not every girl is a cheater. Until you give someone a chance, how will you find the perfect match? Think wisely, hmm?"
This time, his father's tone softened.
Akhil: "Yes, I'll try."
As he rose from his chair to leave, his father teased him.
Karan: "By the way, I hope that mark on your cheek wasn't given by a girl."
Akhil shook his head and left the office, only to find Vihaan was still waiting anxiously, his concern evident on his face.
Vihaan: "Bro, what's going on? Is everything okay?"
Akhil paused, contemplating whether to share his father's ultimatum with his best friend. Eventually, he decided to confide in Vihaan.
Akhil: "you won't believe what my dad just told me. He wants me to get married within a month, or else I can forget about taking over the company."
Vihaan's eyes widened in disbelief.
Vihaan: "What? But why? And in just a month? That's insane!"
Akhil nodded, his frustration evident.
Akhil: "I know, it's ridiculous. But my dad is adamant. He thinks I need to settle down and find someone before I can fully take on the responsibility of running the company."
Vihaan frowned, realizing the gravity of the situation.
Vihaan: "Well, what are you going to do?"
Akhil shrugged, feeling overwhelmed by the sudden pressure.
Akhil: "I don't know, Vihaan. I've never been interested in relationships or marriage. And now I have just a month to find someone? It's impossible."
Vihaan placed a reassuring hand on Akhil's shoulder.
Vihaan: "Hey, don't worry. We'll figure something out. By the way, you didn't tell me about the mark on your cheek."
Vihaan asked, prompting Akhil to recall the incident and close his eyes to control his anger. Akhil then explained everything to Vihaan, recounting the events that led to the mark, leaving Vihaan's jaw dropping in disbelief. After hearing the story, Vihaan couldn't contain his laughter, much to Akhil's annoyance.
Vihaan: "I can't believe it! She slapped you, the Akhil Agarwal! Oh my god, and you did nothing? Is it some kind of love at first sight? Wait, I'll tell Uncle that he's found his daughter-in-law."
Vihaan was about to get up until he received a harsh kick from his best friend.
Akhil: "Stop your silly drama. I haven't forgiven her. When the time comes, I will seek my revenge."
As Akhil spoke, a sudden message popped up on his phone.
Vihaan: "Who is it?"
Akhil: "It's Dad. He wants me to attend the business party that Bakshi Industries is organizing."
Vihaan: "Ah, right. Their son got the CEO position."
Akhil simply hummed in response.
---
Akhil: "Leave this topic. Did that bastard say anything who planned the attack?"
Vihaan: "No, but we've tortured him too much. It seems like he's loyal, like a dog. What do we do now?"
Akhil smirked and replied, "Okay then, let's pay a visit to our guest."
They exited the company, each getting into their respective cars, and drove towards their mansion where no one was allowed except their men and work partners.
As they approached the mansion nestled in a dense forest, heavily secured with top-notch hackers, they were greeted by their bodyguards.
Akhil maintained his cold demeanor as he entered the basement, which emitted a horrible and disgusting smell of blood. In the dimly lit room, a man was suspended, his body covered in deep cuts, some fresh and others dried.
Akhil sat in front of the man, exuding dominance. He lit a cigarette, enjoying the screams as his men continued to beat the man. Moving closer, he pressed the lit end of his cigarette into the man's face, eliciting screams of pain. Gripping the man's face, he dug his nails into his jaw, ignoring the pleas for mercy.
Demanding answers, Akhil's voice was dark and dangerous, "Who sent you to spy on us?"
But the man remained silent. Akhil signaled Vihaan to approach with a tablet playing a live video of the man's family, taunting him with their impending danger.
"Isn't this your small, happy family? Now they're searching for you desperately. You have two options: answer my question and die, or remain silent and watch your family perish alongside you. The decision is yours," Vihaan said with a smirk, reminding the man of his imminent demise for crossing AK, the underworld mafia king.
The man finally spoke, "Mr. Bhatia," before gunfire rang out, ending his life.
Akhil turned to Vihaan, instructing, "Ensure that money is sent to his family every month and provide for their necessities," before leaving the basement.
---
As Akhil and Vihaan left the basement, they headed towards the main hall of the mansion, where their trusted lieutenants awaited their next orders.
"Spread the word," Akhil commanded, his voice firm and commanding. "Mr. Bhatia will soon learn the consequences of meddling with us."
Vihaan nodded in agreement, already instructing his team to initiate their plan of action. The underworld would tremble at the mere mention of their names.

Later that evening, he prepared for the party he had to attend with his family. Settling into his car, he was about to start the engine when a call interrupted him—it was none other than his mother.
A sigh escaped his lips as he braced himself for the impending scolding. Answering the call, before he could even say hello, he was interrupted by his mother's voice.
"Where are you? It's already 8, and we're waiting for you," Sumitra scolded him.
"I'm on my way, Ma. I had some important work to do," he replied as he drove towards his destination.
"Okay, drive slow and come fast. Hmm, bye," Sumitra said before ending the call.
He chuckled at her response and hung up.
After some time, when he reached the destination, he parked the car and began
walking towards the entrance. However, his steps halted when he saw someone familiar. Taking a closer look, a smirk formed on his face.
